This year’s Mladi Levi Festival balances performances that critically reflect the often intangible complexities of today’s world with projects that explore degrowth and sustainable practices, seeking to create a better reality—at least within the festival’s own microcosm.

* A long-awaited premiere by one of Slovenia’s most renowned theatre collectives, Beton Ltd., known for its incisive ideas and sharp critical performances that consistently hit the mark while never shying away from examining its own hypocrisies.
* One of Slovenia’s leading choreographers, Maja Delak, takes on Jordan Tannahill’s deeply personal and lyrical drama Declarations in her acclaimed new performance, blending choreography and direction in a work that is both intimate and political. As the opening words of Declarations proclaim: This is it.

The festival will also present works by De Utvalgte, Basel Zaraa, Jana Jacuka, Silvia Calderoni and Ilenia Caleo, Agnietė Lisičkinaitė and Igor Shugaleev, and Viktorija Ilioska, as well as the two-day programme MANIFEST LESS, among others…
