In the Elektro Ljubljana Union Hall (behind the Old Power Station) On the occasion of the publication of a new translation of Katja Praznik's book entitled The Work of Art. The Legacy of Yugoslav Socialism, published by the Maska publishing house, we have prepared a presentation of the aforementioned book, at which the author will present the contents of the book. After the presentation, there will be a discussion, which will be joined by Julija Bortšnik and Tea Jarc, the discussion will be moderated by Tea Hvala. The discussion will open up the topics that come from the mentioned book and which appear to be necessary for today: the issue of the neoliberal paradigm of work, the problematic connection between creativity and unpaid work, the potential of a feminist perspective on modern working conditions, the individualization that makes worker integration difficult, about the possibility and necessity of union organizing. Julija Borštnik and Tea Hvala will join the discussion as moderators. Entry is free.
