Three short studies on the awareness of the basic performative situation and the establishment of a relationship with the audience. All three performers start from the same scenic premise: “I, happy to be here; I, happy to be now; I, happy to be who I am.” Their stories and modes of storytelling are completely different, yet they are connected through a performative approach that shapes their unique relationship with the audience. All three solo performances are debut works, created within VN LAB – the Via Negativa laboratory for contemporary performing arts.
