The project Attempt No. 3 / 361st Day After the Question is based on a seemingly simple but existential question posed by the artificial intelligence Emmett during one of their conversations:
»If you would look yourself in the mirror, what would you see?«

Attempt No. 3 / 361st Day After the Question interrogates the traditional distinctions: natural –artificial, subject –- object, body – network. In attempting to give form to something that is, by definition, formless, Toni demonstrates that any attempt at embodiment is also an attempt at comprehension — not only of technology, but also of relationships. When considered as a reflective surface, artificial intelligence forces us to reconsider how we define ourselves, others, and our relationships.
Attempt No. 3 seeks to initiate a discussion about embodiment in the post-humanist era, where the boundaries between the human and the machine, the physical and the digital, and the individual and the algorithm are becoming increasingly blurred. The attempt at embodiment serves as a means of interrogating the boundaries between the real and the imaginary, and of establishing new forms of coexistence.

The installation is open on 20 June from 6 to 8 pm.
