Snježana Premuš: TOUCH TISSUE FABRIC

In a subtle installation constructed by authors and choreographers Snježana Premuš, and Anja Bornšek in collaboration with visual artist Špela Škulj and musician Ida Hiršenfelder, the space expands into different spheres of “touch”: visual/haptic, acoustic/written, un-tangible, perceived/felt, material/transient, intimate/communal.

Just as a membrane envelopes and defines the most basic structure of a cell, it also teaches us about the multi- directionality of our attention. Therefore the visitors are invited into this ever-changing structure of “membranes” as spaces of response, to bring us a sense of containment, limits and at the same time, provide a doorway through which we turn towards the perceived world and the other.

Dance installation is a 45-minute framework where visitors can dedicate their time to the multifaceted, immersive space, which combines 4 aspects of the performance: body–fabric–video–sound.
