Snježana Premuš: Stories About the Body – MOVE-AS

Stories About the Body is a cycle of dance performances focused on the human body, in which choreographer Snježana Premuš explores the physicality of individuals and the personality of the body itself. She examines the moving body and the signals it emits through movement. When we try to interpret these signals or codes, they can reveal fascinating stories about a person’s history, secrets, and personality traits.
This performance is the fourth in the Stories About the Body cycle and focuses on the male body—the poetics of its communication through movement, the expression of strength, vulnerability, capability, and personality through motion.
Snježana Premuš comes from Maribor and began her dance career in 1990 at the Maribor Dance Center. She graduated from the School for New Dance Development in London and has since collaborated with many different authors and performers, including Iztok Kovač, Ignaz Schick, Elena Alonso, and in this project, actor and performer Primož Bezjak.
