Movement and Contemporary Circus Workshop

This workshop will focus on movement techniques used by contemporary circus artists. Participants will explore body weight in relation to objects and partners through contact improvisation, learning how to manipulate unique stage elements, such as wooden reels, and experimenting with acrobatic and movement challenges inspired by contemporary circus.
The workshop is open to everyone interested in movement and circus techniques, from beginners to experienced movers and dancers.
Branko Potočan is a contemporary choreographer and dancer, known for his mastery of circus and dance skills on stage. He is also the director of Vitkar Institute and the choreographer of the Fourklor dance company.
