Mladi levi | Alexandra Papademetriou: DEGROWTH TOOLBOX FOR ARTISTIC PRACTICES

exhibition

What would a manual for living in a world that no longer bets on infinite growth look like? What would a survival toolkit for the future contain –one based not on accumulating things, but on community, care, knowledge, and imagination?

The exhibition Degrowth Toolbox for Artistic Practices by artist and researcher Alexandra Papademetriou explores ideas of degrowth through a collection of objects, stories, concepts, and speculative tools for different ways of living. The project raises questions about what we truly need for a good life and how we can imagine a society beyond the logic of constant economic growth.

The exhibition is not a roadmap for the future, nor does it offer definitive answers. It is a methodology, a toolkit, and an invitation to collectively explore paths that could lead us toward a more just, more solidarity-based, and more sustainable world.
