Nexus is an experimental audiovisual project by visual artist Gašper Milkovič Biloslav and producer Mitja Cerkvenik (jesusonecstasy). The two artists share a common interest in technology, which they adapt to the needs of their artistic expression through modifications and technological upgrades. By using multiple feedback loops of audio and video signals, routed through their audio and video systems, they create a harmony between image and sound. The unstable nature of the feedback loops, which require constant control, makes the results difficult to reproduce. Their compositions are instantaneous and their key element is unpredictability. The project will premiere at MENT in collaboration with Sonica Festival.

Sonica is an international Ljubljana-based festival dedicated to contemporary music trends in the fields of electronic, experimental and classical music and sound arts.
