Armand Joubert grew up in Johannesburg (South Africa), and has been fed with stories and tales from this land. After a graduation in visual art, he decided to work on keeping the heritage of his mother, a tale teller. Not just to keep it alive, but to make it evolve. Armand was always more interested in the tale teller, than the tale itself. And that’s his point of entry into improvisation, focusing the attention on the process, on the tool of tale telling. Armand is now proposing fake tales without consistency, inviting to read another tale, spoken by the tool itself.
