A conversation about performance work

More specifically about the readability of work in the context of performing or experiencing improvised work.

A conversation with Julyen Hamilton, Andreja Rauch Podrzavnik and guests will be moderated by Pia Brezavšček.
The starting point of the conversation is an article published in the magazine Maska, autumn 2024, entitled: Readability of Work: Creating, Performing and Experiencing Improvised Work*.

*The conversation arose with the desire to approach and present the work that both of them (Julyen and Andreja) perform, each in their own way as well as in their joint collaboration, most recently in the performance A Scoreless Time (2024). An integral part of their collaboration are the conversations they have before and after the work on stage, as well as within the process itself. The reflections recorded in the interview open up some key questions about experiencing performance works and about the relationships and expectations of both the audience and the performers.
