PHENOMENAL REALITY: PART 1

It is becoming increasingly difficult to understand the situation and context of our own lives through grand narratives. We sense changes more keenly than we can explain them, and something is steadily shifting, sliding for the worse, without us being able to pinpoint the exact moment it crossed the threshold. We know it all, yet nothing changes.
The new performance by the collective Beton Ltd. borrows its title from the philosophical concept of phenomenal reality, which refers to the world as we perceive and experience it. The world of phenomena. The world right before our eyes. This is the world that the performance builds on. Not what is supposedly hidden behind it, but what happens on its surface every day. The experience of living in a social and emotional landscape where aggression, vulgarity, indifference, and the disintegration of shared space no longer appear as exceptions but as the atmosphere itself.
Beton Ltd. does not look for a theatrical language in representation or explanation. It develops a performative situation in which meaning is established through relationships, rhythms, bodies, images, and shared presence. It is interested in the space between recognition and incomprehension, between laughter and discomfort, between fascination and resistance.

* The performance is not suitable for audience under 18.
