Ensemble Show: To be Seen

To Be Seen is an improvisational format that explores perspective, unspoken desires, and everything that lives between the lines. It focuses on one pivotal moment — a moment everyone witnesses, yet each character experiences differently. On stage, this moment unfolds and transforms through different eyes, bodies, and inner states.

Performers step into the same scene multiple times, each from a new point of view. With every shift in perspective, new layers emerge — emotional, physical, hidden — reshaping how we understand what is happening. Lines, glances, and silences gain new meaning when revisited from another angle.

Katarzyna Chmara, PhD in Arts, an actress working at the script Chamber Theatre in Bydgoszcz, as well as at the Academy of Music. She is a co-organizer of the International Theatre Improvisation Festival “Improdrom” in Bydgoszcz. She performs in numerous improv projects in Poland and abroad. Curious about people and the world, she is full of energy and open to new experiences. She loves learning, as it constantly helps her grow as a person.

Erazem Grafenauer is a Slovenian musician, performer, and educator active in the fields of early and contemporary music. He works as a soloist, chamber musician, and collaborator with various orchestras, performing at festivals across Europe as well as in North and South America. At the centre of his artistic interest are plucked string instruments—from the lute to the modern guitar—which he connects with other artistic worlds of expression. He is an assistant professor at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, the artistic director of the concert series Rasgueado Ljubljana, the Ljubljana Guitar Festival, and the Kit-Ara series. His discography includes the releases Preludio (2018), Works by Slovenian Composers (2019), XyloCorda (2022), and Ventana abierta (2023).
