Mladi levi | CONA LISTENING ROOM
In order to understand and feel, one must… listen. We invite you to the Cona Listening Room – a space of deep listening, rest, and sonic exploration. Three selected audio stories will be available, each opening up questions about our relationship with the environment, time, and the future in its own unique way.
You’ll be able to listen to a recording of the soundwalk The Sandbox by Irena Pivka and Brane Zorman, the musical composition The Tree Spirits / Touch by Brane Zorman, and the musical composition Chronolith by the Jata C. collective (beepblip [Ida Hiršenfelder], OR poiesis [Petra Kapš], Boštjan Perovšek, Bojana Šaljić Podešva in Brane Zorman). These works invite us to listen to a world we often overlook or hear only as background noise – the rhythms of nature, the memories of space, slow changes, and the fragile relationships between humans and the environment.
The listening room is organised by Cona, a platform for contemporary experimental sound art and acoustic ecology, which has been creating spaces for alternative ways of listening to and experiencing the environment for many years.
The selected works are closely related to the themes explored in manifest less: caring for our shared world, coexisting with a more-than-human environment, and finding new ways to understand the future.
Welcome to the listening room – it can be your main anchor point at manifest less, or just a quiet spot where headphones screen you off from the hustle and bustle, immersing you in rest and listening.
