Jausmė is a singer-songwriter and composer from Lithuania. Her style is best described as urban etherealism. With her traditional 29-string zither-harp kanklės and hauntingly strong vocals, she weaves uniquely cinematic, soul-infused and minimalist post-folk sounds. She is a musical storyteller, who writes in two languages. Inspired by nature, people, city soundscapes and lights, self-reflection, re-learning, books and travels, she delivers her truths and virtues in a lullaby-esque fashion, sometimes turning them into a howling siren’s call.
