Bezjak, Epner, Jordan, Kangro, Stegnar, Ulfsak: FUN FACT

The performace on 27th September will have an audio description for the blind and visually impaired. The audio description starts already at 7.30 p.m. with the introduction of the set and actors. Tickets for the visualy impaired are free of charge, reservation is mandatory at info@bunker.si.

Fun Fact is an international coproduction by three authors from Slovenia (Bezjak, Stegnar, Jordan) and three from Estonia (Epner, Kangro, Ulfsak), and the two co-producing organisations – Bunker from Slovenia and Kanuti Gildi SAAL from Estonia.

The team cleverly does not disregard the context of the national, but addresses it from the position of looking for the common or even better – they research the essence of how the common is constituted. Is it through national catastrophes, is it through games, maybe key events that we all know and recognize – construction of historic or national memory is a political minefield, but artistic treasure chest; story after story, fun fact after fun fact, until the whirlwind of all facts takes us to the storm in which none of the facts count for anything, only stories are competing, which will be more convincing, enticing, which one will catch our attention and which one will lose the competition with the urge to look into a smart phone, where fun facts are – infinite.
