Sanja Tropp Frühwald: SONS

In Sons, Till and Jaša Frühwald, father and son – both on stage and in real life – embark on a search for what constitutes their relationship. They ask themselves what can and should a son learn from his father, and what kind of a role models does a growing boy need. How and when does a boy become a man, a man a father?

What does “being a father” mean in the first place? How much of one’s own father can be found in a man? What should a son accept as truth, and when is it time for him to rebel and shape his own future? Together with the musician Georg, the father and son dance, sing and talk about their relationship, about their similarities, their fears.
